Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Winchfield, Hampshire, our family-run establishment has been serving up classic English fare with a modern twist for 17 years.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Chef at The Barley Mow, you'll play a key role in creating and executing our menu of traditional English favorites. From hearty pies to succulent roasts, every dish you prepare will showcase your culinary talent and dedication to quality. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking meals to perfection, following established recipes and standards.

  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop and refine our menu offerings.

  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.

  • Managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a chef in a busy kitchen environment. However catering graduates considered and encouraged to apply

  • A passion for British cuisine and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • The ability to work split shifts, long shifts and weekends
